Simple Grilled Steak Tacos

A hot grill is key to making these perfect steak tacos.
Ingredients

- 1 flat iron steak, about 16 oz
- 4 cups shredded lettuce
- 4 Tbsp prepared salsa
- 4 Tbsp shredded Mexican cheese
- 10–12 flour tortillas
- 1 packet Old El Paso fajita seasoning
Instructions
- Prepare grill for direct cooking at 500 degrees.
- Season flat iron steak on all sides with fajita seasoning and let sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes while grill comes to temperature.
- Place steak on grill and cook for 5 minutes per side for medium rare (125 degrees internal temperature), or to your desired doneness.
- Remove steak from gill and rest for 5 minutes.
- Heat tortillas on grill for 30 second per side, until charred but pliable.
- Thinly slice steak across the grain and serve with warmed tortillas, cheese, salsa and shredded lettuce.
