  • Author: Man Who Eats
  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

The key to keeping the skin crispy and not over smoking the chicken is to cook at a higher temperature. The 350-degree temp ensures a crispy skin and tender meat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole chicken, 4-5 pounds
  • 4 Tbsp of your favorite BBQ rub

Instructions

  1. Set grill up for indirect cooking at 350 degrees. Use cherry wood for smoke flavor.
  2. Season chicken all over with your favorite BBQ rub.
  3. Place chicken on grill and cook until the internal temperature reaches 155 degrees, about 1 hour.
  4. Rest chicken for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving with mac.
