Crispy fried texture in an oven-baked chicken wing. Not to mention a killer Buffalo Sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds chicken wings, separate into flats and drumettes
The Rub
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
- 2 tsp granulated garlic
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp paprika
The Buffalo Sauce
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Chicken Wings
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Combine rub ingredients in a small bowl or spice shaker
- Pat wings dry and season liberally with the rub
- Put wings on a wire rack over a rimmed baking sheet and cook for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway, or until wings reach 175 degrees internal temperature
- Toss chicken wings in buffalo sauce
Buffalo Sauce
- While the wings are cooking, make the sauce. In a small sauce pan over medium-low heat, melt butter
- Add Frank’s Red Hot, crumbled blue cheese and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk to combine
- Cook, stirring occasionally, to a bare simmer, 10-15 minutes
- Keep warm while wings finish
