Tequila Lime Marinated Flank Steak on the Big Green Egg

Description
A versatile steak recipe that goes well in tacos, salads or however you want to serve it. The tequila adds a nice dimension that will lead to compliments heading your way!
Ingredients

- 2 Tbsp garlic, chopped
- 1/4 fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 Tbsp ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 soy sauce
- Juice from 1 lime
- 2 oz. tequila
- 1 flank steak, 16-24 oz.
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic, cilantro, ginger, olive oil, soy sauce, lime and tequila.
- Put flank steak in a resealable bag and pour marinade over top. Refrigerate overnight.
- Remove flank steak from marinade and allow excess to drip off. Pat dry with paper towels.
- Prepare grill for direct cooking at 600-700 degrees.
- Grill steak for 2-4 minutes per side, until internal temperature reads 125 for medium rare.
- Remove steak from grill and let rest 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
